The children took home their decorated jellyfish, which were made with very simple household items. All that is needed: a paper plate, glue, and a brown paper-bag. That is all!
They designed jellyfish while sharing experiences they had with jellyfish in the past. With every child’s input, we all learned a lot more about these creatures.
Given the time of year, this made jellyfish project was super fun. We mainly talked about the types of jellyfish more commonly sighted on the east coast. However, they also discovered that the world’s largest jellyfish, the lion’s mane, can grow up to 120 feet long! Insane, right?
