Art Sphere Inc. Terms and Privacy Policy

Art Sphere Inc. (“Art Sphere”) is committed to respecting your privacy. This privacy policy (“Policy”) governs how we collect, use and disclose the personal and business information collected from visitors to our website.

Our policy is to use any and all data collected by any means, whether through the internet, email, telephone, and/or any interactive forms or surveys, only for such uses that are important to our organization and our cause, in light of the professional standards required and expected from nonprofit organizations.

Please understand that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, this information cannot be made one-hundred percent secure and, in some cases, this information can be intercepted, collected, and used by others. However, Art Sphere Inc. is dedicated to the protection of your personal information at all times and will never share, sell, or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties without your prior consent.

The Information We Collect

Art Sphere does not collect any personally identifiable information about you – such as your name, address, telephone, gender, and e-mail address – unless you choose to provide us with such information voluntarily, through the use of our volunteer and donation forms, correspondence, or interactive surveys, for example.

Art Sphere collects categories of information about each visitor to our website in the following ways:

  1. Through header information (your IP address, the URL of a referring website, the type of browser in use, and the type of device used to access the website);
  2. Through cookies;
  3. Through your voluntary participation in online surveys or completion of forms available on our website;
  4. Through any correspondence you send us via mail to our online posted mailing address, our online listed emails, and through other electronic forms available on our website;
  5. Through Usage Data; and
  6. Transaction and Payment Information.

Details follow about these methods of information collection:

1. IP Addresses:
Your IP address does not reveal any personal information about you or your activities. Our web server host logs all IP addresses of all visitors to automate information collection concerning web traffic, usage, length of time visitors stayed, new visitors, entry and exit points, and the like. It is also used as statistical information for reporting and to find ways to improve web usability. Note that because IP addresses are assigned in geographic blocks, your IP address typically provides general geographic information about your location.

2.Cookies:
Our website uses cookies to gather information about traffic and to enhance your visit to our site. Cookies are electronic identifiers that are transferred automatically to your computer through your browser that allow our computers to save certain information you provide us and store information about you so that we can recognize you when you visit our website in the future.

Cookies are used to customize web pages to provide the user with preferences. They can be deactivated in your browser, if you wish, by configuring your browser’s preferences not to accept them. If you choose to disable cookies, you may not be able to use all of the interactive features of our site.

No information gathered by any cookies we have on our site is used to disseminate information about your personal use of the Internet, nor is it ever used for any marketing or advertising purposes.

3.Online Surveys and Form Information:
Online surveys and forms are generated by our database to gather information about you and your organization when you register as a user on our website. We may contact you to follow up on information you provide to us in connection with a survey. None of the information collected is shared with third parties.

Volunteering
If you sign up through our website to volunteer, we will retain a record of your willingness to volunteer and your contact information. We also will use information you provide to us in connection with our process for vetting and assessing volunteers. We may contact you to invite your participation at upcoming events.

4.Correspondence:
None of your contact information or any correspondence that you send via regular mail, online through forms, through email, or any other means is ever sold to third parties under any circumstances, and is used only to conduct our daily business in accomplishing our mission under our policies as a nonprofit entity.

5.Usage Data Information:
Data about activity on and use of offering such as app launches, browsing history, search history, crash data, performance and other diagnostic usage data. This data is not shared.

6.Transactions and Payment Information:

Donations
If you donate through our website, we will ask for payment information and share that with our payment service (Zeffy). Zeffy’s Privacy Policy can be found here. If you donate through an external website, then the privacy policy on that website will govern the handling of your information.

In all of these cases, we will receive information on your donation, including your name, the amount, and whether you have made the donation in honor or in memory of another person.

This information also may include data about billing addresses and methods of payment such as bank details, credit, debit card information.

How We May Use Your Information

Art Sphere Inc. may share non-personally identifiable information with various entities for legal purposes or with law enforcement. By use of this site, you expressly agree to such transfers of data.

We share donor information with third-party providers who provide services to us in connection with our own fund raising. We do not sell or rent our donor lists.

We partner with Google Analytics to collect information about site visitors. Information about Google Analytics Data Privacy and Security may be found here.

We will not share, rent, or sell your personally identifiable information to any third parties. It is possible, though unlikely, that we may be forced to disclose personally identifiable information in response to legal process or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, for example, in response to a court order, subpoena, or a law enforcement agency’s request.

Art Sphere maintains internal lists/databases of members, volunteers, and contacts in our office. Because your physical mail and e-mail addresses are confidential, we never share either type of information with outside parties, and only key Art Sphere Inc. personnel are allowed access to the areas of the computer systems in which we store this information. Lists/Databases are accessed only for the purpose of vetting and assessing volunteers, upgrading our computer systems or distributing Art Sphere Inc. newsletters, publicity campaigns, alerts, correspondence, event notifications, or other professional communications that help us accomplish our mission as a nonprofit organization.
