ART SPHERE’S ONLINE CLASSES: ALL OUR CLASSES ARE FREE!

Learning something new is a great goal for 2022, and we have lots of interesting programs to offer for below:

1.

In this workshop for younger children and their families, we’ll create our own instruments using recycled materials, write our own songs, and learn about instruments that are culturally significant in Puerto Rico. 

This workshop is part of One Book, One Philadelphia
Participants are free to join for one session or all!

Dates: Tuesdays from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm on May 3, 10, 17 and 24.

Art Sphere is unveiling a free online STEAM program with exciting new hands-on activities to make learning about space meaningful and fun. Our program sponsored by NASA is open to students grade 5-12 (kids 13 and younger must be accompanied by a parent) and is offered in three half-hour workshops where students can choose to attend one or all three.
Dates: Feb 15, 22 / March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 / April 5, 12.
Sessions: From 5 – 5:30 pm / 5:30 – 6 pm / 6 – 6:30 pm

Do you want to pursue college, get a job, or start your own business and feel overwhelmed or not sure where to start? ASI can help by sharing the roadmaps we have used to help students and volunteers over our 25 years of experience be successful. 
Kristin, executive director of ASI, artist and certified personal coach looks forward to helping you get started on this journey.

Come visit to explore the music production and how to create music with Miguel and Hin! We will go over simple tricks and patterns to create cool and fun beats!

Do you want to know about how music works and how you can make it but feel like it’s probably going to be like rocket science?
Come to class to learn about and understand the building blocks of Western music using a simple number system. With a little practice, you will be on the fast track to understanding how to make chords and how they work together to make songs. It’s not hard and it can be really, really fun!
