Join our Virtual Storytelling through Cartoons Workshop: Unleash Your Storytelling Power!

Discover the captivating world of graphic novels and comics as we guide you through an immersive online workshop. Led by Riya, a talented junior from the Philadelphia area, this workshop promises an exciting exploration of techniques that will bring your stories to life.
Throughout the workshop, you’ll dive into various storytelling methods, including thumbnailing, closure, and word balloons. By the end of the session, you’ll have the skills to create a simple yet engaging 6-panel comic inspired by a personal experience.
Reserve your spot today and embark on a journey of visual storytelling like never before! Participants, ages 5- 16,  are free to join for one session or all.
Dates: Saturday, April 13 and Saturday, April 20, from 12 noon  to 1 PM.

Take our introduction to Music class for early elementary age students with Instructor Zack where you will learn the difference between musical instruments, notes, rhythms, listen to instruments being played, and much more. 

Participants are free to join for one session or all!

Dates: Mondays and Fridays from 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. EST starting August 29 to September 30.

Learn how to draw and paint with watercolor, and create masterpieces like these in just 10 minutes with instructor Voa, artist and ASI animator. 

Participants are free to join for one session or all!

Dates: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. starting August 1 to August 22.

In this workshop for younger children and their families, we’ll create our own instruments using recycled materials, write our own songs, and learn about instruments that are culturally significant in Puerto Rico. 

This workshop is part of One Book, One Philadelphia
Participants are free to join for one session or all!

Art Sphere is unveiling a free online STEAM program with exciting new hands-on activities to make learning about space meaningful and fun. Our program sponsored by NASA is open to students grade 5-12 (kids 13 and younger must be accompanied by a parent) and is offered in three half-hour workshops where students can choose to attend one or all three.
Dates: Feb 15, 22 / March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 / April 5, 12.
Sessions: From 5 – 5:30 pm / 5:30 – 6 pm / 6 – 6:30 pm

Do you want to know about how music works and how you can make it but feel like it’s probably going to be like rocket science?
Come to class to learn about and understand the building blocks of Western music using a simple number system. With a little practice, you will be on the fast track to understanding how to make chords and how they work together to make songs. It’s not hard and it can be really, really fun!
