This week at Fishtown Rec & Cione Rec, we combined art & music by making our own shaker instruments! We filled recycled plastic bottles with beads, and gave them our own special decorative touches with construction paper, ribbon and markers. The shakers were unique to each student’s personal style. After we finished decorating the shakers, we learned how to shake them to a rhythm, and how to shake on beat.
