This week at Fishtown Rec & Cione Rec, we combined art & music by making our own shaker instruments! We filled recycled plastic bottles with beads, and gave them our own special decorative touches with construction paper, ribbon and markers. The shakers were unique to each student’s personal style. After the shakers were decorated, we worked on shaking them to a rhythm, and trying to shake on beat.
