At Cohocksink Recreation Center, we drew and painted fish, starting with the urinals in an effort to inspire good aim and to keep the center clean. It was highly humorous and very rewarding to see the enthusiasm of not only kids from the Center but also of Port Richmond neighborhood girls wanting to check out this latest attraction. Yes, this means we have to give the girl’s bathroom a creative facelift. Long, heated discussions have already begun on what the final outcome will be. Stay tuned this summer as we work out this new creative challenge during summer school.
It just goes to show how a little paint can make a big difference in pride. Never before have there been lines to visit the bathrooms!
