Week 4 with our Fishtown kiddos and we had the wonderful, Miss Grace come help us out!
Littles – Fishtown Rec Center
With the younger children, we created storybooks! We first discussed what we think of when they hear the word “story.” Answers included Books, Fairytales, Dragon, King, Queen, Reading, Jack and the Beanstalk, etc. Then I told the children that they’re going to write our own story today in their own blank book! I explained they could use this book however they wanted- they could write and draw photos retelling a story they already knew, they could make up their own story, or they could simply make the book about themselves and include their favorite things. It was a blank book with a million choices!
