Could be done with either felt or paper on a cardboard or wood background. All with just a touch of glue.
This would be a wonderful way of elaborating on the beauty of recycled materials.
Potential subjects of discussion. What is abstract art? What is representational art? What do we see in the world that is abstract?
Discuss what happens when many pieces are placed next to one another. What does this say about community involvement? How does one piece on a wall compare to a dozen or so?
Discuss how even with the same project, everyone’s comes out a little different. How can this topic be expanded on to reflect other aspects of the classroom or the world?
