Earlier this month, we returned to Penn Treaty Middle and High School for afterschool art classes. ASI instructors welcomed students back this semester by prepping a classroom banner. The banner was designed from repurposed paper curtains and will act as a prompt to encourage students to share a brief note or doodle at the beginning of class.
By taking a brief moment to add to the banner each week, students will change pace from the chaos and bustle of school dismissal, and settle their mindset for creative activity. We look forward to teaching at Penn Treaty for another exciting semester, and seeing the culmination of students’ contributions to the class banner!
