On Wednesday afternoon at Towey Recreation Center, the children were asked…what is your dream? What would you like your life to look like when you grow up? We had some awesome answers…an astronaut, a pop star singer, a doctor, and having a family! First we closed our eyes and visualized what it would be like to have our dream, a technique used to inspire and build motivation and form goals! Then, we wrote our dream on a note card for everyone to keep.
After everyone had their dream in their mind, Miss Kristin set up the tables for everyone to paint their dream! Some kids painted multiple pictures, I loved seeing their faces light up when they talked about their dreams! I told them to always hold those dreams close to their heart, and that anything is possible!
