This week, the students created Day of the Dead skull pictures, as well as some fall art. This is a Mexican holiday celebrated on October 31st through November 2. It’s really cool to be able to incorporate different cultural holidays into our art projects, since many of our students are different ethnicities and come from varying backgrounds. It’s always fun to be able to celebrate these days as a community and make it a safe environment to learn in. They were able to have their art hung up and be displayed at the end. As you can tell from the pictures, they were super excited to be able to show off their finished art.
