At the Towey Recreation Center, students made Valentine’s Day Dalmatians for the upcoming holiday and created career maps.
For the Dalmations, used their imaginations to draw the body before using black cutout ears and black hearts for the spots, and nose. This project really encouraged their creativity and artistic ability because they had to draw the majority of the dog.
They also created career maps for how they would reach their goal. This was an interesting project because the students were able to see their goal on paper and how they would get there. I think this is important because it can help them to start thinking about their future.
