In the effort to maintain as much social distancing as possible, we need to stay home as much as we can. Staying home helps protect our most vulnerable friends, family, and neighbors, as well as all the essential workers who must continue to go to their jobs, like doctors, nurses, mailmen, grocery store employees, and sanitation workers.
Even though staying home can feel lonely and boring at times, the collective effort to abide by social distancing is a reminder of the fact that we are in this together. When we all stay home, we are taking care of one another.
Staying home isn’t an act of solitude; it is an act of solidarity.
As you color in this illustration, think about who you help by staying inside.
