While Day of the Dead is a little ways off, October 31st, our students at Penn Treaty spent the day making masks for this holiday. Fall is a great time for art because there are so many possible themes and crafts that come with the season. In addition to this, they also made more adjustments and decorations for their classroom. This included beautiful paper flowers they hung up, and paper bats to continue the fall/Halloween theme. I think being able to incorporate their art into decorating the classroom each week is a super fun activity, and each of them is able to see their contribution each week.
