This past Sunday at Tzu Chi we made bird nests!

It was a really busy week for everyone, so Kristin led the group in a great discussion on baby birds and the courage needed to fly.
“It takes courage to learn from our mistakes and not give up – it takes courage for baby birds to fly when they know they might fall a few times until they figure it out…
We persist, we learn, and we soar!“
Everyone added some extra creativity with this project, making each nest individual.

At the end of class, each student added a banner message about something or someone that represented courage for them. It gave each student a personal message of strength to look at later.
