Egg shells have a semipermeable membrane which has as many as 17,000 tiny pores, which allows air and moisture to pass through. Some breeds of hens will sing a song when laying their eggs, and the baby chicks will begin hatching after 21 days.
Directions:
1. Fold the paper into thirds on the dotted lines.
2. Draw a chick inside the egg including beak, eyes, and feathers.
3. Color and decorate then cut it out. Have fun!
