Founded in 1998, Art Sphere Inc. (ASI) is a non-profit organization in Philadelphia that engages the creative in communities, empowers neighborhoods, explores the positives in peoples’ lives, and heals the mind, body and spirit through art.
By building partnerships with schools, recreation centers and social service organizations in underserved neighborhoods, we provide high-quality art instruction to build skills, introduce youth to new technologies in art making and increase literacy.
ASI nurtures the artist in all of us to be able to think beyond what is possible in our own lives and communities. Our students, volunteers and partners transcend obstacles to bring about lasting change, reflection and self-transformation that continuously enables thriving neighborhoods and a vibrant city.
