- Interesting Facts: Shraya founded her own publishing company, VS Books, which is aimed for new writers of color.
Vivek Shraya’s work spans across music, literature, visual art, theatre, and film. Along with contributing reviews and columns, she has written 10 books. Her latest book being the print version of her original theatrical production, How to Fail as a Popstar, which debuted in February 2020. Her film work includes original music videos, book trailers, and multiple short films. On top of it all, she works as an assistant professor in the creative writing program at University of Calgary.
