Nauru is in Oceania, with a population of only 12,000 people. The capital of Nauru is Yaren. The currency used is the Australian Dollar(AUD). The official languages spoken in Nauru are Nauruan and English.
When measuring by landmass, Nauru is the smallest country in the world with only about 8 square miles of land to call its own. Despite the small size, the Island does have a small railway system for transporting goods around the country.
