The Bodhi tree of Sri Lanka, also known as Sri Maha Bodhiya, is the oldest known human-planted tree. It is believed that the tree is 2,300 years old and was planted in 288 BC.
Sri Lank is in South Asia, with a population of 22 million people. Its capital is Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte, and their currency is Sri Lankan Rupee. The official languages spoken in Sri Lanka is Sinhala and Tamil.
