The Republic of the Congo has around 10,000 species of tropical plant and many wild animals including Mountain Gorillas, Chimpanzees and forest Elephants.
The most famous Congo rainforest tribe is the Pygmy tribe. The average height for Pygmy man and woman are 4ft 10in and 4ft 1in.
The Republic of the Congo is in Central Africa, with a population of 5.24 million people. It’s capital is Brazzaville, and their currency is Central African CFA franc (XAF). The official language in the Republic of the Congo is French.
