Terms
Acquire (verb) – To buy or obtain (an asset or object) for oneself.
Corpora cavernosa(noun) – one of a pair of sponge-like regions of erectile tissue, which contain most of the blood in the penis during an erection.
Corpus spongiosum (noun) – a mass of erectile tissue alongside the corpora cavernosa of the penis and terminating in the glans.
Cremaster muscles (noun) – a muscle that covers the testis and the spermatic cord.
Ejaculated (verb) – (Of a man or male animal) to release or eject semen from the body at the moment of sexual climax.
Elastic (adjective) – (Of an object or material) able to resume its normal shape spontaneously after contraction, dilatation, or distortion.
Erectile tissue (noun) – tissue in the body with numerous vascular spaces, or cavernous tissue, that may become engorged with blood.
Fertilization(noun) – The fusion or combining of the male gamete (sperm) with the female gamete (egg/ovum) in plants or animals, fertilizing an egg, female animal, or plant; the result is to form a zygote.
Implantation(noun) – the action of setting in firmly. Often refers to the attachment of the fertilized egg to the inner lining of the uterus.
Intertwined (verb) – To twist or twine together.
Mature (adjective) – fully developed physically; full-grown.
Nourish(verb) – provide with the food or other substances necessary for growth, health, and good condition.
Semen (noun) – the male reproductive fluid, containing spermatozoa in suspension.
The scrotum (noun) – a sack of skin that hangs from the body at the front of the pelvis, between the legs. It sits next to the upper thighs, just below the penis.
