Terms
Antibodies (noun) – Any of a large variety of proteins normally present in the body or produced in response to an antigen which it neutralizes, thus producing an immune response.
Arteries(noun) – any of the muscular-walled tubes forming part of the circulation system by which blood (mainly that which has been oxygenated) is conveyed from the heart to all parts of the body.
Blood clot (noun) – A semisolid mass of coagulated red and white blood cells. Produces a scab over a wound.
Capillaries(noun) – any of the fine branching blood vessels that form a network between the arterioles and venules.
Filter (noun) – Device that removes something from whatever passes through it, often to remove waste products or purify.
Nutrient (noun) – Any substance that can be metabolized by an animal to give energy and build tissue.
Plasma(noun) – the colorless fluid part of blood, lymph, or milk, in which cells and nutrients are suspended.
Recycling (noun) – The act of processing used or abandoned materials for use in creating new products
Transport (verb) – move something or somebody around; usually over long distances.
Veins (noun) – A blood vessel that carries blood from the capillaries toward the heart.
Waste (noun) – Any materials unused and rejected as worthless or unwanted.
