Join ASI Teacher, Maritza Lohman, and learn about how Mexican Artists paved the way for modern Latino culture. Los Tres Grandes, or The Big Three; Diego Rivera, Jose Orozco and David Siqueiros, were Mexican muralists who created murals starring everyday people who are often overlooked in traditional art. The Big Three created murals in public spaces in order to teach everyone, even those who could not read, about Mexican history and to honor the everyday person as a hero in their art.
