One of the special parts of being located in the BOK Building is it’s History and local significance.
A historic vocational school closed by the School District of Philadelphia in 2013, it is being lovingly restored into a new, richly layered and constantly evolving center for creatives, small-businesses, non-profits, small-batch manufacturers and beyond.
Bringing youth and communities to this valuable city resource not exposes them to our inspiring project resources from various neighborhoods but also to the studio spaces and unique perspectives of professional artists working with a wide range of subject matter and materials.
We invite everyone to take this opportunity to see into our studios where art is made, and to join in some friendly and engaging dialogue with some of Philadelphia’s most creative people!
