Flugelhorn is a brass instrument that has three valves, a wider bore than the cornet and is slightly bigger and heavier than the Trumpet. It was commonly used for military bands. The price of the flugelhorn varies from $150 – $4000 and up.

The flugelhorn was invented around the 1830s in Austria, where the first version of the flugelhorn was sold by Heinrich Stölzel. Check the video.
