Kindergarteners at Fishtown Rec Center put together construction paper snake faces. Next, they glued them onto their choice of background color and drew their own snake body. We talked about pattern, color, and how snakes can slither and coil around. Most of the soon-to-be kinders made nice, friendly snakes.. Although, everyone did seem to have a story about their personal encounter with a real snake! We also talked about snake habitats and two of the boys placed their snakes in the forest with some trees.
