The students were really excited about making their own hand puppets with Halloween right around the corner. I feel like this project was huge success because not only were the students engaged, but even the staff joined in on the fun and made their own puppets as well. Everyone’s puppet turned out to be different and unique with some of them being humorous and even spooky. I definitely have to point out that one kid made their own interpretation of the character forky from Toy Story 4. One puppet that stood out to me was this monster that had holes in certain areas for your fingers and a large tongue. I’m glad we brought in extra stuff for the class because were being creative and utilized every material available to design their puppets.
