At Glavin we had wooden popsicle sticks with a star at the top. We used these to make magic wands. They used tissue paper to glue onto the star which created a 3D effect, and they also decorated with markers. Some of the kids scrunched up the tissue paper and some kept it flat. It was interesting to see how they chose to use the tissue paper. Then they decorated the part of the wand where they would hold it. This was a fun project, and after they were done they used their wands to play.
