On Tuesday July 25 we had a makeup day at Glavin Rec. The first group of preschoolers practiced following directions , learned printmaking techniques, and used multiple mediums for one project. First I had them all trace starfish stencils onto their papers. Then they rotated between dipping bubble wrap in tan paint to create a spotted print on their starfish. Then with green paint they made seaweed, with blue paint they made bubbles, and then they outlined the starfish with red paint. After they were finished painting they sprinkled glitter and sand onto their project.
