Volunteer Opportunities v1

Want to make a difference in the lives of children and are willing to help virtually with lesson plan writing, teaching, research, record keeping, video, fundraising, design, social media, and more?

Volunteering with ASI is a fun way to meet caring people, learn new skills, and give back to the community by sharing your skills and time. Check out our available volunteer positions and descriptions on VolunteerMatch.

Due to Covid – 19, ASI is holding our interviews, programs, and events online to protect the safety of our students and our volunteers.

Learn about the rewards of working with ASI from volunteers who share the impact of their projects above and on YouTube!

To apply for an online volunteer staff position, please complete the following easy steps:

Have questions for our team, want to request a virtual meeting with our Executive Director, go over volunteer roles or scheduling? Please email volunteerwork@artsphereinc.org.

Have a special day you want to commemorate a loved one or dedicate to the service of others? One-time ASI volunteers assist in online research and in the past have participated in large-scale in-person events like our Annual Philly Spring Cleanup and Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service. Participation only requires a Release Form.

Are you from a school, community group, or business and interested in safe volunteering opportunities for your staff peers or students? ASI has fun online group volunteering opportunities to offer.  See how Dow and Siemens corporations have made a difference with in-person ASI retreats.

Please note for long term ASI volunteers planning to return with ASI to the classroom, we ask that you complete FBI Fingerprinting (required by Philadelphia Recreation Centers if you have not lived in PA for ten consecutive years (not currently required during COVID for remote work).

We appreciate your taking the time to complete our ASI volunteer forms which help ASI staff learn your volunteer skills, interests, and schedule whether for individuals or a group, allow individuals to participate in our projects, and continually improve our programming with your completed feedback surveys!
