National Shrimp Day

Shrimp are crustaceans that can be found by the seafloor or in rivers and lakes. There are over 2,000 species of shrimps that usually live between 1 to 7 years. Shrimp are very nutritious and can range in size from a few millimeters to more than 20 centimeters (or about 8 inches). They are also a beneficial part of an aquarium ecosystem by cleaning up excess bits of food and waste left behind by fish or other aquarium animals.

Celebrate National Shrimp Day on May 10 with this free handout. Color the shrimp and the aquarium decorations!
