Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month is celebrated annually during the month of May. This month is meant to recognize and celebrate the achievements and influence of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders on American culture. 

Some Fun Facts:

– There are over 19 million Asian Americans and 1.5 million Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders in the U.S.

– The Asian American and Pacific Islander community has over 48 different ethnicities and speaks over 300 different languages.

– It is predicted that by the year 2060, the Asian American and Pacific Islander community will grow to 40 million people.
