Acanthus

A plant commonly found in the Mediterranean. The leaves of the acanthus have been used as a decorative characteristic on the head or crowning feature of columns and pilasters.

Arbor

A recess created by leaves of tree branches, shrubs, and other plants that provides shade. Another form of arbor is using a latticework bower that’s intertwined by climbing vines, roses, and other flowers.

A covered walkway made by a row of either arches or columns.

Arches

An arch is a curved and vertical structure that serves as support over an opening.
