Philadelphia Ecology

This series will delve into the scientific field of ecology, which is the study of living things. The first few episodes will cover some of basic topics that are important for understanding how nature works. After that each episode will cover different types of animals and plants. The series will end with a few episodes on more complex topics like human involvement in ecology. Throughout the series examples from Philadelphia will be used to showcase animals native to the area. Many of the animals should be recognizable even if you don’t live in Philly, so it’s not a requirement for watching the series.
