Owls are an amazing of bird consisting of over 200 species. Our hope is to be able to engage our Southwark students with art and information surrounding these birds. We hope to discuss how these birds are nocturnal, meaning that they are awake during the night. This is when they can hunt the most efficiently because owls can see in the dark. They also have an awesome ability to rotate their heads up to 207 degrees! In the near future we hope to give our students the opportunity to learn about these amazing creatures and encourage their interest in nature.
