How to Draw a Griffin

Griffins date back to Ancient Iran before they were found in Greece! In their myths, Griffins were called Shirdal, meaning ‘Lion-Eagle’. They were a symbol of strength, and often guarded a treasure. They have the body and tail of a lion, and head and wings of an eagle. Download and color the griffin on this handout and then cut it out. Have fun!
