Colorful Ceramics Pieces Painted by Kids!

Using Team-work students’ glazed ceramics pieces were out of the kiln and displayed on the table for everyone to see.

We helped each other identify whose was whose. Initials on the bottoms were a smart idea! We helped the students wrap their projects up in bubble wrap and they were very excited to be able to bring their projects home.

Students had rolled leaves in clay and rested these into plastic forms to make plates and bowls or made holes in them to wear or hang as pendants. Students examined the transparency versus opaqueness of their glazes and compared the different leaf patterns.

Self portrait cups (with extruder hair), bats, pumpkins stars, people, animals and houses. Ceramics projects are ready to be taken home!
