Function:

A tendon is a fibrous connective tissue that joins muscles and bones together, which allows us to move freely.

Tendons can be found in different sizes and shapes depending on the muscle and bones they connect.

Fun Fact:

Tendons don’t only attach muscles to bone, they can attach to other structures as well such as the eyeball.
