Working with High School students who recently immigrated from many countries as well as those from differing American Ethnicities, we painted murals using famous art works from each country of origin.
With a high incident rate of student violence, this program built lasting bonds between cultures, religions and races and improved communication between groups, bridging common goals and fears and brought humor to regular language and cultural misunderstandings.
