Papua New Guinea is in Oceania, with a population of only 8,600 people. The capital of Papua New Guinea is Port Moresby. The currency used is the Papua New Guinean Kina (PGK). The official languages in Papua New Guinea are Tok Pisin, Hiri Motu, and English.

Papua New Guinea is home to the third largest rainforest in the world. Beaten only by the Amazon and the Congo, this rain forest stretches across almost 112,000 square miles. Despite the tropical rain forest environment, it is common for snow to fall on the highest mountain tops of the country.
