Jack Halberstam is a Professor of Gender Studies and English in Colombia University. He is an award-winning, transgender author of seven books on gender and queer theory. One of his most popular books, Female Masculinity, addresses a dilemma for lgbtq+ people, “the bathroom problem,” that is still relevant today. He lectures throughout the United States on queer theory, sex and media, and queer culture.
