  • Interesting Facts: Elton Johns original name was Reginald Kenneth Dwight. He changed his name because he wanted a better stage name. He got Elton from Elton Dean who was a saxophone player in a band, Bluesology. John came from John Baldry, who was a singer for the band.
Elton John
Elton John is a singer, songwriter and composer known for his rock and pop rock music. John has been openly gay since 1988 and when same sex marriage became legal in England in 2014, he married his boyfriend David Furnish. He is known for making it to the Billboard Top 100 every year for the past 31 years. Recently premiered is his performance with Rina Sawayama of her song “Chosen Family”.
