Why Coordinate Neighborhood Cleanups?

Public outdoor spaces like parks and playgrounds are the meeting places where inner-city youth develop lasting memories and beliefs on home, safety, community, and responsibility.

Coordinating neighborhood clean-ups with various groups is essential to Art Sphere Inc.  It involves people so they meet and build relationships with their neighbors, see the immediate positive impact of their efforts (on often overwhelming amounts of trash and graffiti), and inspire more improvements in their environment while building civic responsibility in youth.

Coordinating with FNA Fishtown Projects, who every 3rd Sat of the month has cleanups. FNA wants to make one of our clean-ups a mural collaboration, reaching out to more local area school art teachers to see if they would promote the event to youth so we can get more neighborhood kids outdoors and interested in serving the community. https://www.fishtown.org/contact.html
