National Middle Child Day

National Middle Child Day is celebrated on August 12th every year!

Fun fact: Elizabeth Walker created National Middle Child Day to give often-forgotten middle kids their own special celebration in 1986.

Fun fact: Middle children tend to be the peace-keeper of the family and are often considered trustworthy and sociable.

Fun fact: Abe Lincoln was a middle child.

Celebrate this day by coloring in the fun message on the handout and share it with the middle child you know! Hang it up on the fridge or door for everyone to enjoy. Make them their favorite sandwich or do a fun activity they enjoy.
