I’m very excited about joining the teaching staff at Art Sphere because this would be an opportunity for me to not only develop more skill & experience teaching, but I would also be able to utilize my artistic skills and background by training and motivating the next generation of artist.
The moment I knew that I was meant to be a teacher was when I became a teacher’s assistant during my time in the MFA program at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA). I loved how I was able to pass over some artistic knowledge and techniques to the undergraduate students as they were starting to develop as an artist. I was also able to learn things from them as well throughout the process. My goal is to give students a platform to find and develop their creative side which is deep within our subconscious minds.
