On Wednesday at Glavin Recreation Center I read the book Dinosaurs Love Underpants by Claire Freedman and illustrated by Ben Cort. Its a funny story about how dinosaurs were wiped out by an underpants war. Each dinosaur in the book had a different design on their underpants so I had the kids practice making patterns and create a design for their own underpants. We talked about what a pattern was, and after the kids finished designing their underpants they glued them to a T-rex printout.
