Project Title: Hibernation

Materials: paper plate halves (with a square flap cut in the center) , large construction paper, glue, markers, and colored pencils
Anticipatory Set: Discuss why bears go into hibernation
Demo/Directions:
- Glue one paper plate half onto the construction paper to create the bears cave.
- Have students draw out a forest with mountains to create an environment for their bears on their construction paper.
- then have students draw their bears under the square flap, which is their cave entrance.
