Anticipatory Set: Discussion on flowers as an important part of the ecosystem.

Demo/Directions:

  1. Trace hand with a crayon
  2. Decorate the rest of the flower, each finger being a petal.

 

Discussion: Life applications; how the lesson might apply to non-art related experiences or other types of knowledge.

  1. What do flowers do for the ecosystem?
  2. How many kinds of flowers are there?
