At Glavin Recreation Center, Monica read the kids a story called “Dinosaurs love Underpants” and we did a project related to the story! We had the kids color their own dinosaur and then make a pattern on a pair of underpants for the dinosaur to wear. The kids really enjoyed it and they had a lot of fun creating their own patterns!
At Shissler Recreation Center, we taught the kids about warm and cool colors by doing a worksheet. Then, they applied what they learned to color a design on a paper plate of a sun, which was supposed to be in warm colors, and a moon, which was supposed to be in cool colors.
